# 최소 Base Fee 설정하기

> OP-Stack 체인에서 최소 base fee를 설정하는 방법을 알아봅니다

## 개요

**최소 Base Fee**(`minBaseFee`) 구성은 **[Jovian 하드포크](https://docs.optimism.io/notices/upgrade-17)**에서 도입되었습니다.
이 기능을 사용하면 체인 운영자가 최소 L2 base fee를 지정할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 base fee가 너무 낮아질 때 발생할 수 있는 지나치게 긴 우선순위 수수료(priority fee) 경매를 방지하는 데 도움이 됩니다.

[batcher-sequencer 스로틀링이 활성화된 상태](https://docs.optimism.io/chain-operators/guides/configuration/batcher.md#batcher-sequencer-throttling)가 충분히 오래 지속되고 minBaseFee가 활성화되지 않은(또는 0인) 경우, base fee가 1 wei까지 떨어질 수 있습니다. 안정적인 base fee로 회복되기까지 오랜 시간이 걸릴 수 있습니다.

아래 단계는 `SystemConfig` 컨트랙트를 사용하여 온체인에서 `minBaseFee` 파라미터를 업데이트하는 방법을 설명합니다.

> `minBaseFee`를 너무 높게 설정하면 사용자의 트랜잭션이 포함되기 어려워질 수 있습니다.

## 최소 Base Fee 업데이트 방법

**1. SystemConfig 컨트랙트 주소 찾기**

[SystemConfig](https://specs.optimism.io/protocol/system-config.html) 컨트랙트는 gas limit 및 수수료 설정과 같은 구성 가능한 프로토콜 파라미터를 저장합니다.\
proxy 주소는 [op-deployer가 생성한 state.json](https://docs.optimism.io/chain-operators/tutorials/create-l2-rollup/op-deployer-setup.md#deploy-l1-contracts)에서 찾을 수 있습니다.

**2. setMinimumBaseFee() 메서드 호출**

>
> `SystemConfig` 컨트랙트의 owner는 [System Config Owner 주소](https://docs.optimism.io/ko/op-stack/protocol/privileged-roles.md)이므로, 이 트랜잭션은 해당 주소에서 전송해야 합니다.

최소 base fee를 업데이트하려면 `SystemConfig` 컨트랙트에서 다음 메서드를 호출하십시오.

`setMinBaseFee(uint64 minBaseFee) external onlyOwner;`

**3. 새 값 확인**

트랜잭션이 확정되면 `SystemConfig` 컨트랙트에서 다음 getter 메서드를 호출하여 현재 값을 확인하십시오.

`function minBaseFee() external view returns (uint64);`
